Aging - How much exercise do we need?
I’ve been skyving off… is that a word or did I just make it up?? Anyway, I got bored with climbing twenty sets of stairs a day and I haven’t been near them except when I have to get from one level of the house to the next. But after a doctors visit yesterday when he hold me that one coratid artery is 50% blocked, I decided that maybe I should start again. What is really annoying is that my cholesterol is not the problem. It’s a heredity thing. The only thing that I can do is get in more exercise and make sure that I watch the dairy products. I don’t want to add to the problem.
So, I did the stairs and now I feel like crap. I felt better before I started. So, tomorrow, maybe I will start back at just 10 flights of stairs, instead of the twenty and see how I feel with that. I’m hoping that this intense exercise will dislodge some of the plaque that is building up. Who knows?

I’m not sure that exercise will help you significantly with artery deblocking, but you will surely have a healthier body and heart if you continue exercizing. Also, if you continue with cardio exercize, your heart will get bigger and stronger, as all the other muscles in your body.
But, for ‘cleaning up’ the arteries, you might want to check out benefits of garlic, carrot juice, apple cider vinegar and flax seeds.

I eat a ton of carrots each day, simply because Britt makes us, so I wonder if that is helping. The other items on the list, I will certainly check out. If I can de-block the artery on my own, I will eat raw garlic!
But I will warn people first.
