Aging Fabulous - This is when the fun starts!

An At-Home Microdermabrasion Machine.

by Teri on April 23rd, 2008

I am all about microdermabrasion, and look forward to the day I finally splurge on a professional treatment.

With the crystals being shot at the face and subsequently sucked off, I suppose it may not be the most comfortable process. I am considering an at-home microdermabrasion machine for myself to try it out first.

There is a pretty affordable at-home system called Crystalift. My friend Christina from eBeautyDaily has been testing out the system and I cannot wait to hear about her final results.

Crystalift is $199 and contains enough product for 6 weeks of use. If Christina gets some great results, I may just have to purchase for myself. If I do, I will definitely let you know about my experience.

Has anyone had a professional Microdermabrasion treatment? Has anyone used the Crystalift?

well, how should I put it. on the website it all sounds too beautiful, we really need to hear from somebody who’s used it.
on the other hand, my beautician always tells me too much microdermabrasion stimulates the skin recover faster, which is not good. it has to keep a certain rythm. well, can hardly wait for Christina’s news!

I’ve had lots of microdermabrasions and peels. They don’t hurt, don’t turn your skin red, and give you a pretty good result, especially when combined with a photofacial. Because I’ve had so many, at 66 my skin still looks many years younger. And I will never have surgery :-)

I wouldn’t be as confident doing it myself as having a trained asethetician do it for me, though.
