Cleanser Search.
One of the most frequent questions I get from readers is about facial cleansers. Whether they are looking for anti-aging cleansers or a simple cleanser that does a good job at removing makeup, dirt, and oils, this is obviously a topic you want to know more about.![]()
Over the next months, I will be bringing you information on various facial cleansers once or twice a week. From high end, to drugstore brands, targeted cleansers and more, a huge variety will be covered.
If there is a facial cleanser that you simply love, please let me know so I can include it on my list. Also, if there is a specific cleanser that you wonder about, please bring that to my attention, so I can try and get all the details on it for you as well.
You will easily be able to find my cleanser posts as each title will start with “Cleanser Search”, followed by the name of the cleanser.
Stay tuned!

My favorite is Dior cleansing milk for face and eyes. I also liked La Mer cleansing lotion, however it is almost double the price of Dior.

Of course - we do not discriminate, Peter and neither do most products. There are a few brands that cater to men, such as Zirh and Jack Black. Nivea also has a nice line for men.The only time I would worry about a product being specifically made for a woman is if you noticed any kind of hormonal references.

I have never heard of Pomega5, Amy. Where do you buy?

I have been searching forever for a good inexpensive cleanser. I know it sounds crazy, but I used to use Suave face cleanser! I found that it removed all the makeup - mascara too! - easily and gently without leaving behind that oily, sticky feeling of eye make-up removers - which I hate! It also did not leave me with that tight, dry feeling. Unfortunately, they must have stopped making it, because I can’t find it anywhere anymore. I’ve tried most of the other drugstore options (they fit my budget) and I can’t find a replacement that will clear off all the eye makeup. I can’t wait to see what you and your readers recommend!
