Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment.
I am getting more help for my dry hands. This time, it is with the help of a wonderful all-day hand cream. It is from Elizabeth Arden, called Eight Hour Cream.
This is a thicker gel-like cream, that I was initially afraid to use as it seemed that my hands might be a bit greasy, but I was wrong. Thankfully, this cream absorbed into my skin pretty rapidly, leaving my hands soft and smooth, with all signs of dryness and cracking gone. And a little bit goes a long way.
I noticed that as the day went on, my hands stayed soft. When I washed my hands, the water sort of beaded up and ran off of them, which is a wonderful protective quality of this cream, indeed.
The smell is sort of an herbal citrus blend, that is strong coming out of the tube, but faded pretty quickly as the cream is spread over hands.
Eight Hour Cream is available from your favorite Elizabeth Arden counter for $16.

I just learned about this cream from one of my patients; she had hand dermatitis for months until she started using it. Her hands look great now.
I think it has silicone (dimethicone) in it which helps keep your hands protected for hours after applying.
