Friday’s Foundation Find: Intervene by Elizabeth Arden.
There is a brand new foundation on the market from Elizabeth Arden. And this foundation is not just your ordinary foundation. Listen to this.
Elizabeth Arden’s Intervene Liquid Foundation is formulated with the power of Biodorminý technology. This breakthrough technology is used to help put a pause on aging signs. Along with the exclusive micro-mineral pigment technology, the colors are matched easily (and pretty perfectly) to most skin tones, which helps to even the skin tone while brightening and firming it as well. The SPF of 15 adds in the much needed protection we need from the sun as it protects us from premature aging.
This has everything that I want in a foundation, so much so, that you would think it was made just for me.
The shade that matches my fair skin tone is Soft Sunbeige. I originally thought that Soft Shell was for me, but it was a little too pink for my already pink skin tone. I have found Soft Sunbeige to be perfect.Besides all of the great benefits of this makeup, I really like it for the way that it feels very moisturizing on my skin, and how it lasts through out the day with no powder - which is pretty rare for me.
The rest of the products I used for my mini-makeover are from Elizabeth Arden too:
Flawless Finish Maximum Coverage Concealer in Fair
Color Intrigue Bronzing Powder Duo
Color Intrigue Eyeshadow in Vanilla and Mingle
Smoky Eyes Powder Pencil in Smoky Black
Ceramide Lash Extending Treatment Mascara in Black
Ceramide Plump Perfect Lipstick in Perfect Cinnamon
Crystal Clear Lip Gloss
Elizabeth Arden Intervene Liquid Foundation is available online or your favorite department store Elizabeth Arden counter for $36.00. The foundation is available in 12 shades, one of which I am sure will be perfect for you too.

That looks AMAZING. I have been a BE girl for several years, but have recently toyed with the idea of a liquid foundation again as I am getting older and dryer 9a dangerous combo with powder). I may have to see if I can get a sample of this!

Heather - I would definitely go to the Elizabeth Arden counter to get matched up, and I am sure they have samples available. If not, ask them to give you a few pumps to take home and try for a few days. I recently had to ask this at an EL counter, and they were more than happy to help.

WOW. You look so pretty! Your skin ended up looking flawless! I can’t stop looking back at your photo but I knew I had to finish writing this. It’s good to hear about its staying power. Did it feel ‘heavy’ on the skin? Again, I say, WOW. XD

Thank you, Sasha! *blush*
No, the makeup does not feel heavy at all.
I should probably update my review a bit, as I have been using it longer now. I actually find myself using less and less of the foundation everyday, as it seems to really cover and fill in my lines, etc. after a few minutes.
I guess it should be noted to use “sparingly” as it is really all that you need!

It just looks gorgeous on. Can a combo skin use it or would it be too rich?

Jo - I think it would be okay. I have dry skin, so that is not one of my concerns. But the formula is oil-free and semi-matte (really natural looking) on it’s own.
