Aging Fabulous

Hand Cream Hits!

by Teri on March 13th, 2008

When setting out to find the perfect hand cream, I never thought that I would actually be trying so many. There are so many, in fact, that there really is no perfect hand cream. Some are better than the others yes, but there are so many hand creams for different needs, to be used for certain levels of dryness or wear, it is impossible (for me) to declare just one my favorite.

Hand Cream Hit List

  • Philosophy Amazing Grace Hand Cream - A nice, general hand cream that smells fabulous. This one rests proudly next to me at my desk.
  • Sweet Grass Farms Super Duty Hand Care - A Salve-like treatment for the harshest of hands. This is fabulous overnight with a pair of cotton gloves.
  • Elemis Intensive Hand Repair - Great for a rougher day with extra dry hands. I like this one a lot.
  • Olivella Virgin Olive Oil Hand Cream - Made from natural olive oils, this one is used almost daily as it sits next to my kitchen sink.

  • Neutrogena Norwegian Formula Hand Cream - Another good one for night time use when you don’t need extra special care.
  • Principessa Cattiva Diva Silky Hand Cream - Probably the prettiest smelling hand cream there is. In it’s pretty pink tube, this one is in my handbag for touch-ups on the go.
  • Curel Hand & Cuticle Cream - Great for a long day where frequent hand washing will be done, as this one lasts through water over and over.

Be sure to also check out the hand creams that I reviewed earlier on this year:
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Intensive Moisturizing Hand Treatment.

I’m not much of an Amazing Grace fan, and haven’t any of the others (except Curel and Neutrogena), but try Mary Kay if you get a chance. That’s one thing I order over and over again to keep at my office. Have used this one for year.

I used to use the Mary Kay Satin Hand system. I loved that thick one on my hands and feet overnight.
