Lip Injections Not for You?
I am pretty lucky that I have been blessed with lips that are pleasantly plump . Now, they don’t compare to those of Angelina Jolie, but let’s just say that I won’t need lip injections any time soon.
If lip injections are something you may be considering, but you rather not take such drastic measures right now, give some lip plumpers a try.
Lip plumpers come in all shapes and sizes, and some in color too. And though they all claim to plump lips with different ingredients, I have found that like most things, some work better then others, and these results differ from person to person.
Finding a topical lip plumper does take trial and error. What does this mean? Well, a lip plumper that works great on Susie may not work great on you. Likewise, your favorite lip plumper may not do a thing for Susie to plump her lips.
My first suggestion is to just try some lip plumpers. Here are a few of the most popular favorites.

Like I said, lip plumpers work differently for everyone. So if you are game and serious about finding a lip plumper that works right for you, shop where a good return policy is in place. CVS has a policy of taking back any cosmetic item that you have tired and found that it is not for you. And Sephora is pretty good about this too. If a product does not work for you after only giving it a few tries, be honest. Tell the sales associate that you tried the product, it is not working for you, and you would like to try something else. More times than not, you will be able to return it and get something new to try in exchange.
Have you found a lip plumper that works for you? And if you have, how did you find it?

I have no idea what they do with all that is returned. I am sure it it just a price of doing business, but I know that I rather shop somewhere that has a good return policy than at one that doesn’t.

The stores don’t get a lot of returns (because people are embarrassed/too busy to return) but they just toss returned product. One company that is really fabulous about returns is Avon. The cost for returned products is absorbed by the company; the rep does not have to pay for it. The plumpers mentioned in the article are all fairly expensive; one I love is sold in most drugstores and Walmart…it is called Mega Plump by Wet n Wild. I think they use oil of cinnamon as it smells a little spicy. It costs around $4.65. The only thing I just noticed is that it’s made in China, so now I wonder about the lead content.
