Protecting Your Bones - Tip of the Day
You can’t start to early and just in case you didn’t know, if you suffer a break after the age of 45, it’s going to take longer to heal than if you were in your thirties. Trust me, I waited this long for my first break!
Here are some of the foods that I am adding more of to my diet…
1. milk (the skimmed variety)
2. tuna (about the only kind of fish that I like)
3. bananas (extra potassium)
4. dark green veggies (nothing can beat spinach salad)
Here are some of the foods that I am adding less of to my diet…
5. protein (didn’t eat a lot of meat anyway)
6. caffeine (I’m down to about a 1/2 cup) They say more than three cups a day causes the body to excrete calcium. Don’t need that!
