Renee Rouleau Glycolic Serums.
I have been wanting a glycolic peel for quite some time. I thought now was the perfect time to start by trying out some at-home glycolic products. The first one I tried was this wonderful Glycolic Serum by Renee Rouleau.
The serum I am using is the 17% Glycolic Serum. It is right in the middle of the road for strength, and perfect for just starting out and using at home.
Renee also has serums in the 10% and 20% strengths. They are all non-drying serums. These serums are meant to be used once a day for seven nights, then taking a break from it for seven nights.
Here are all of the descriptions:
Exclusively formulated for sensitive skin, this non-drying AHA exfoliating serum dissolves dry skin cell buildup to give the skin a newly refined smoothness.
This non-drying AHA serum untraps clogged pores, discourages breakouts and gives sensitive skin a smooth and healthy-looking appearance.
This non-drying AHA serum gives professional-strength results by dissolving dry skin cell buildup for a newly refined smoothness.
I definitely feel a difference in my skin and have become quite addicted to the serum. One or two pumps of the serum is all that is needed to completely cover my face and neck. The first few times I used this serum, I definitely felt a bit of a warm, tingly sensation. I still do feel it getting warm when I use it on my neck, but I figure that this is a sign of it working.
