Resolutions
Every year I make them, but like most, I seldom stick with them. Hopefully this year will be different. This year I’m going to be more like my mom. She’s 73, she’s in a band and she never seems to stop.
And it’s not as if my mom hasn’t experienced difficulties along the way. Mom simply learned to roll with the punches and keep everything on the positive side of the plate. Like the band thing. She’s actually the youngest member and they are booked continuously. It’s all about enjoying life with her group of friends. They don’t play for money… they play for cake and coffee. Not that she gets very much of the cake. She’s diabetic so she pretty much plays for enjoyment and the coffee.
So Aging Fabulous is pretty much all about my mom. If she can do it… so can I. Getting older while having tons of fun is something I plan to master so that I can pass on everything I know to my daughter… and anyone else who is interested. Certainly beats feeling miserable!
