Spas for Men

by SPBragg on January 14th, 2006

brushIf you think that spas might be just for women, you would be soooo wrong. The next time you are out of town for a big business meeting, take advantage of the hotel spa. You will be hooked… trust me.

So what would I advise for your first treatment?? Go for a manicure. Your hands will look amazing and there is nothing quite like a hand massage to get rid of any stress that has built up! And when you get home, you just might be able to talk your wife into taking over the treatment… for a small price. ;)

Now there is one smart guy! I wonder if I should suggest that my husband take a course?? It would be great to have a massage anytime I wanted one!

    He does need a hobby!

WOW… this is a great blog. I love it. I totally agree about the spa. I do a lot of travel and always try to sneak in a massage when I can. haven’t had a manicure in a long time… might change that this week. Michele sent me!

There’s something deliciously decadent about being pampered - and this applies to both genders.

Great site: I definitely must return to read more.

I have mixed feelings about this. I don’t mind having men at my salon or spa place, but I want MY OWN TIME with no husband around. These places are like mini-sanctuaries for women…escaping the gazes of men (as if they gaze at me!)…the scrutiny of the world…we can let our hair down (literally) and enjoy the pampering. If my husband accompanied me, I’d have to worry about being done in time or some other silliness.

I don’t mind him going, it just needs to be separately from me.

you haven’t experienced true pampering till you’ve gotten a foot scrub/reflexology massage. i definitely recommend you ask for one the next time around…:)
