That Tan… She Will Be Sorry (Daily Tip)
It’s not something that you think about when you are young. I know I spent hours working on my tan every summer and it wasn’t long before I was a gorgeous shade of brown. But my excuse is that we all did it without knowing that there would be consequences. We never heard about skin cancer and the thought of wrinkles was simply something that would never happen to us.
Well, guess what. It does happen to us and I only wish that I had started a lot earlier to protect my skin from the sun. There are some great products on the market to give you that sun kissed look if you want it, but laying out in the sun… not something that you want to do anymore.

I am still amazed at how many teens I saw this summer stretched out sunbathing. I avoid the sun like the plague now. Takes some of the fun out of summer though, I must admit!

I found this great new product just this week as I was walking by a store window in NY. It is a cleanser with SPF 15 in it. It uses an encapsulation process which leaves a sun protection of 15 on your skin after you rinse the cleanser off. It’s by a company called Freeze 24/7. I bought it and absolutely think it’s a great idea! The sales woman said that it’s the first ever of its kind and that it will protect me against incidental sun exposure. It’s called Ice Shield. Fun name!
