The Problem With Gray Hair
The problem is a simple one… it has a mind of its own and it doesn’t want to be soft anymore. So is there anything you can do other than yanking it out?
My Little Recipe
3 tablespoons of olive oil
a few drops of lavender essential oil
a small bowl
Before applying, spray your hair with water so that it is damp. Now do the same to your hands. It just works better if your hands are wet. Now apply the scented oil to your hair and leave in place for about 15 minutes. If your hair is long, you might want to wrap it up in a towel. Shampoo to remove the oil and you should notice a difference!
It won’t change the color, but it sure makes your hair softer. :)

Do you think it might help pre-dye to make the hair receptive to colour?

I really haven’t a clue. But I do know that if my daughter Britt does the coloring for me, it lasts a lot longer than when I do it myself. She has patience… I don’t. My biggest problem now is trying to get my roots NOT to grow in so quickly!
