Yes, this is when the fun starts…
Did you notice over the “Aging Fabulous” header, there is a lead in that says… this is when the fun starts?? Well, it couldn’t be more true. My husband is on business in Foothill Ranch, California and Britt (who does’t begin designing more landscapes until March) and I came along for the ride. We have ten days or so to soak up the California culture and do a bit of relaxing. I could get carried away but I’m not going to chance activating this flu bug again. I seem to just get over it and then it’s back within a couple of days. So, I’m going relax and take it one day at a time. But I will definitely let you know what I’m up to…
Like last night’s restaurant. It was called Islands and although it is just a hamburger style restaurant, I have never seen hamburgers soooo big. Couldn’t even finish it! The menu looked amazing, so I would be surprised if we go back a few more times before we leave.
Well, that’s it for this morning. I will try to log in later and give you an update! Signing off from sunny California… where life is a whole lot of fun from what I have seen so far!

Did you not bring a camera? Last night I took a pic of my grandson trying to put a double hamburger in his mouth! Great pic!
I’m a foodie at heart, and I ‘do’ take pics of food at restaurants,,,,and food I cook.
The Japanese have a saying,,’we eat with our eye’s, before we eat with our mouths.’ So true!

Believe it or not, we left the camera sitting on the table at home. But my daughter is looking at investing in one down here, so you just never know!
